7 Things About Thyself

7 Things About Thyself draws upon the mindset of the Apostle Paul as he was preparing, teaching and training his son in the faith Timothy about the value and importance of examining self. This book is designed to be a study guide for life and ministry where we can “examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5) as we learn about self.

The aim and intent of 7 Things About Thyself is to also develop the character of God deeper in our “spirit, soul, and body” (1 Thessalonians 5:23) where we are empowered to pass the tests and examinations of life that come our way over and over again.

This book further teaches us the importance of examining ourselves by the truth of 1 Timothy 4:16 in the Message Bible that declares, “Cultivate these things. Immerse yourself in them. The people will all see you mature right before their eyes! Keep a firm grasp on both your character and your teaching. Don’t be diverted. Just keep at it.
